Dec. 28, 1963: ‘All Night Rave’, Club Noreik, Tottenham, London, England

Dec. 28, 1978: Rolling Stone magazine voted SOME GIRLS ‘Album of the Year.’ The cover was designed by Peter Corriston, featuring the Stones in garish drag alongside select female celebrities and lingerie ads, which immediately ran into trouble when Farrah Fawcett, Raquel Welch, Lucille Ball, Liza Minnelli (representing her mother Judy Garland) and the estate of Marilyn Monroe all threatened legal action
