1963: The Stones’ first show ever at the Ricky Tick Club at the Star and Garter Hotel, Windsor, Berkshire, England. Reportedly, all the walls in the club were painted black and the lighting was made out of old ice-cream tins.

1964: California Ballroom, Dunstable, England (extracurricular gig)



1964: Release of the SATURDAY CLUB compilation album (Decca LK 4583), incl. two Stones songs: 1. Fortune Teller/ 2. Poison Ivy


1965: City Hall, Brisbane, Australia (2 shows)


1983: Keith attends Tina Turner’s show at The Ritz in New York, and then joins Tina, David Bowie, journalist Lisa Robinson and tennis player John McEnroe backstage (all photos by Bob Gruen)









1994: Re-release of Leon Russell’s debut album ‘LEON RUSSELL’ on CD, with Mick and Bill as guests on one song (bonus track): ‘Shine a Light’ (under the title ‘Get A Line On You’)

1999: Oakland Arena, Oakland, CA, USA (first show of the No Security North American Tour)

2002: Ronnie joins The Corrs at Ardmore Studios, in Bray, Ireland for ‘Little Wing’ and ‘Ruby Tuesday’. The show was later released as both an album (‘VH1 Presents: The Corrs, Live in Dublin) and a VH1 TV special.
