Dec. 13, 2012: A collection of love letters written by Mick to American singer Marsha Hunt (original star of hippie counterculture musical Hair, and mother of Mick’s first daughter Karis) sold at auction for $300,000. The letters were penned in the summer of 1969 while Mick was in Australia. They are believed to be the inspiration for ‘Brown Sugar’.
