1963: Red Lion Pub, Sutton, England

“Wake up in the morning there’s a snap around the place…”
1964: The Stones record ‘Wake Up In The Morning’, a TV jingle for Kellog’s Rice Krispies cereal (aka ‘Rice Krispies Jingle’), written by Brian and one J. Walter Thompson, at Pye Studios, London. First aired on British TV on June that year.


Feb. 6, 1965: Town Hall, Auckland, New Zealand (2 shows)

1968: Mick is interviewed on The Eamonn Andrews Show (British TV)


1979: The Stones were forced to interrupt their recording sessions in Nassau after the band’s assistant Alan Dunn and his girlfriend Ramona Herman go missing on the ocean. Mick, Bill, Ian Stewart and a security man spend about two days looking for them in planes over the sea, till the found them. The story lead to the ‘Emotional Rescue’ album title.

1993: While the real Keith Richards is playing at Toronto’s Massey Hall, Mick appears on Saturday Night Live (US TV), performing and also appearing in a few skits, notably the one he imitates Keith.


1995: Release of DAVE STEWART’s ‘Tragedy’ CD single, with Mick as guest on two tracks: 1. Jealousy (Mick on backing vocals)/ 2. Blind Leading the Blind (Mick on vocals)
