From Martin Elliott’s book THE ROLLING STONES COMPLETE RECORDING SESSIONS 1962-2012: With unfinished lyrics, Dancing Girls lacks any spark. It’s one of those tracks that has no identity but is reminiscent of others. It’s has a She’s So Cold introduction, a riff from Brown Leaves and guitar sounds from Just My Imagination. Ian Stewart contributes piano as they entered the studio for the first sessions for the EMOTIONAL RESCUE album.
