Before anything, thanks for being there! If you’re reading this is because you’re a subscriber to the site, or else you found the page online when looking for facts about The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World (aka The Rolling Stones) So here’s the thing: If you aren’t aware of it (the chances are you aren’t), all Google Core Updates since last March (that’s algorithms to rank Google’s search results, yes that monster thing!) have hit hard most of all sites worldwide, leading to content creators (like me) to lose more than 90% of the page’s organic traffic, no matter if you write about the Stones, nail polishing or how to make a good Shepherd’s Pie.

Now that’s a serious drop. Absolutely frustrating. Last one just ended yesterday on Sept. 4 and, as much as we were promised (by, guess who, Google) we would recover all that lost traffic with the new core update, it just got much worse. There’s plenty of articles online about that and the zillion content creators who got hit because of that.

Ok sorry about that, but then what about all those annoying Google popup ads you run on your site, don’t you know we hate them?
I know it and, believe me, I hate them as much as you do! Ads on websites aren’t there for nothing. We content creators need to run them to pay for site’s maintenance, hosting, and all that. However since people complain so much about them I decided to give it try and I just temporarily disabled all those annoying Google ads on my page. The thing is, no matter the small income I made, now I only depend on followers/readers support or donations.
