More about Mick Jagger live at the Webster Hall, New York City 1993
*By Marcelo Sonaglioni

In 1993, Mick Jagger took a rare step outside The Rolling Stones to promote his solo album Wandering Spirit with a single, intimate live performance at Webster Hall in New York City. This exclusive show, held on February 9, was the only full concert he played to support the album, making it a unique moment in his career.
With Wandering Spirit, Jagger delivered a raw, back-to-basics rock & roll album, stripping away the glossy production of his previous solo efforts. The album was well received, and the Webster Hall gig gave fans a rare chance to see him perform these songs live. Backed by a killer band, including ace session musicians and longtime collaborator Joe Satriani on guitar, Jagger tore through a high-energy set blending Wandering Spirit tracks with Rolling Stones classics.
The setlist included fiery versions of Wired All Night, Sweet Thing, and Don’t Tear Me Up, proving that Jagger’s solo material could hold its own. Of course, he also treated the crowd to Stones favorites like Rip This Joint and Live With Me, ensuring that no one left disappointed. His stage presence was as electric as ever—swaggering, dancing, and completely owning the moment.
The Webster Hall gig remains a fan-favorite performance, not just because of its rarity, but because it captured Jagger in a raw, unfiltered setting, doing what he does best. It was a night of pure rock & roll, proving that even outside the Stones, Mick could still command a stage like no other.
