The Stones Kick Off the No Filter Tour in Dublin

On May 17, 2018, The Rolling Stones kicked off their No Filter European Tour in style at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland. It was their first show of the tour and their first time playing in Ireland since 2007—so yeah, expectations were high, and the Stones did not disappoint.

Opening with a killer version of Sympathy for the Devil, the band tore through a 19-song set filled with classics like Tumbling Dice, Paint It Black and Jumpin’ Jack Flash. Fans even got to vote for a song in advance, and Wild Horses won out—sounding just as emotional and raw as ever. There was also a surprise: Neighbours, a rare gem from Tattoo You, made its way into the setlist.

Warhorses, Rare Cuts, and Jagger Moves

Mick Jagger was in full command of the stage, dancing and bantering with the crowd like only he can. Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood traded licks effortlessly, and Charlie Watts held it all down with his usual cool. The whole night felt like a celebration—not just of the band’s music, but of their unbelievable stamina and presence.

Croke Park was packed, and the Irish crowd brought the energy from start to finish. If this show was any indication, the rest of the 2018 No Filter Tour was in for something special. The Stones may be decades in, but when they hit the stage, they still feel unstoppable.
