Everyone in town remembers the last hurricane/ Everyone in town hopes it doesn’t happen again…
Written by: Jagger/Richards
Recorded: Studio Guillaume Tell, Suresnes, France, May-June 2002
From The Complete Works website:
Since early November 2005 the Stones gave away a special 1-track single at their US shows in exchange for a donation for a relief fund in aid of the victims of hurricane Katrina. It included this, a beautiful acoustic ballad sung by Keith, probably recorded in 2002 during the 40 Licks-sessions, lasting for only one and a half minutes. The song was later included in the Keith Richards & The X-Pensive Winos compilation ‘Vintage Winos’, released in 2011.
