The Rolling Stones’ Love You Live Party

On September 27 1977 New York City’s Trax nightclub hosted an unforgettable celebration for the Rolling Stones’ newly released live album, Love You Live. The night was electric, blending rock ‘n’ roll energy with late-’70s pop art flair, thanks to Andy Warhol, who designed the album cover and adorned the venue with his iconic style. Custom paper bags, tablecloths, and other memorabilia made every corner Instagram-worthy before Instagram existed. Fans and collectors now covet these rare items. More than an album launch, the event captured the Stones’ bold, experimental spirit, merging music, art, and celebrity in a way that made this party a true cultural moment.
