April 6, 1971: The group hosts a party in Cannes with Atlantic Records to mark the launch of Rolling Stones Records, introducing their new label and independent direction.

April 6, 1974: The movie Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones makes its grand debut at New York City’s Ziegfeld Theatre, transforming the premiere into a full-blown spectacle rather than a simple film opening. In true Rolling Stones fashion, the event leans into excess and theatrical flair: a towering 40-foot winged tongue—the band’s iconic emblem—rises dramatically into the air, while 2,000 white doves are released, filling the skyline with motion and symbolism. Adding to the surreal atmosphere, a massive 65-foot dragon is flown in all the way from San Francisco, turning the night into a larger-than-life celebration that blurs the line between rock mythology and pure showbiz extravaganza.

The Merle Haggard tribute concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena in 2017 was a heartfelt night full of country music legends honoring one of their own. Held on what would’ve been Haggard’s 80th birthday, the show brought together not only artists like Keith and Willie Nelson, it also included Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, and more, all paying tribute to the Hag’s legacy.
