June 25, 1995: Release of The Master Musicians of Joujouka‘s 2 CD-set Brian Jones Presents The Pipes Of Pan At Jajouka (re-release of original LP plus bonus-CD) plus two remixes: 1. Goat Mix (based on Take Me With You Darling)/ 2. Beedie Mix (based on Your Eyes Are Like A Cup Of Tea)

Released posthumously in 1971 as the debut for Rolling Stones Records, as Brian Jones Presents The Pipes Of Pan At Jajouka, this remains a landmark field recording. Captured by the Stones’ founder in Morocco’s Rif Mountains during the 1968 Rites of Pan festival, the album documents the hypnotic, trance-like sounds of the Master Musicians of Jajouka. By bridging ancient Sufi traditions with Western audiences, Jones’s work served as a vital cultural bridge, forever changing how the world perceives Moroccan folk music.
