1966: Salle Vallier, Marseille, France (2 shows) At the show, Mick is hit with a piece of wood on his eye, which later required hospitalization and stitches.

2000: Mick makes a nostalgic visit to his old school in Dartford, where he opened the new arts centre (the Mick Jagger Centre), named after him at Dartford Grammar. He said he had spent the worst years of his life at the school.


2008: The Stones, along with director Martin Scorsese, hold a press conference at the Palace Hotel in New York City to promote the release of the Shine a Light concert film and album.


March 30, 2019: The Stones announce their forthcoming No Filter North American will be postponed, as Mick needs medical treatment.
Mick: “I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this. I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”
Keith: “A big disappointment for everyone but things need to be taken care of and we will see you soon. Mick, we are always there for you!”
Ron: “We’ll miss you over the next few weeks, but we’re looking forward to seeing you all again very soon. Here’s to Mick – thanks for your supportive messages it means so much to us.”
