Aug. 17, 1965: Mick, Bill Wyman and Ian Stewart join Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page for the recording of four songs at Olympic Sound Studios, London. All songs were produced by Andrew Oldham, and two of them were released in October 1968 as part of the Blues Anytime Volume 1 album (Immediate IMLP 014) and also later on the Guitar Boogie album (RCA, 1971)

August 17, 2000: Release of the Faces’ CD The Best Of Faces: Good Boys…When They’re Asleep. This compilation was curated by the very band’s keyboardist Ian McLagan and serves as a comprehensive overview of their work from 1970 to 1973 with the Faces’ signature blend of boogie rock and rollicking energy. It includes 19 tracks from their four Warner Bros. albums, and featuring hits like Stay With Me and Ooh La La, as well as deeper cuts such as Bad ‘n’ Ruin and Glad and Sorry .
