Dec. 14, 1963: The Baths, Epsom, England

December 14, 1967: Brian was rushed to St. George’s Hospital in London after suddenly collapsing, alarming those around him. Doctors later explained that Jones was exhausted and suffering from severe overstrain after months of pressure and nonstop activity. They also noted he was still recovering from a recent dental procedure in which several teeth had been removed, leaving him weak and run down. The incident highlighted the growing physical toll that fame, stress, and relentless schedules were taking on him at the time.

December 14, 1969: Saville Theatre, London, England (2 shows)
Mick, on playing the Saville (December 1969): “The first show was a bore; the second show was much better. The first house was full of fucking journalists… Don’t feel sorry for me. It was just another gig for me. I felt sorry for them. The most blasé audiences in the world are in our own country, which is why we don’t play here.”
