July 12, 1962: The Stones play their very first show, billed as “The Rollin’ Stones” at the Marquee International Jazz Club, London (without Bill & Charlie), supporting Long John Baldry’s Kansas City Blue Boys. Ads in papers, meanwhile, referred to them as “Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones”.
