June 1, 1964: The Stones were met by over 500 fans as they arrived on British Airways flight 505 at JFK airport in NYC for their debut US tour. They held a press conference before guesting on DJ Murray The K’s (“the 5th Beatle”) radio show. The first date took place on June 5 in San Bernardino, California.

June 1, 1974: The Stones shoot promotional film clips for It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll, Ain’t Too Proud to Beg and Till the Next Goodbye at LWT studios in London, England, all directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg.
June 1, 1975: Dunkirk Hall, Louisiana State University Assembly Center, Baton Rouge, LA, USA (2 shows; first shows of the Tour of he Americas tour, and also, on the day of his 28th birthday, the first with Ronnie Wood in the band ever)
