July 9-10, 2004: Keith performs at two filmed Gram Parsons tribute concerts (later released as Return to Sin City – A Tribute To Gram Parsons) in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, California, including a duet with Norah Jones in Love Hurts. Conceived by Parsons’ daughter Polly, the project honors a father, even when she barely knew him while confronting his enduring legacy. The idea actually accelerated after she met Keith, who enthusiastically agreed to participate in the tribute for his former musical partner and close friend from their wilder days.
