October 27, 1962: The very first time the embryonic Rolling Stones entered a studio, recording three tracks at the Curly Clayton Sound Studios

This is when the early version of the Rolling Stones stepped into a studio for the first time ever — Curly Clayton Sound Studios. They weren’t the legends we know yet, just a bunch of young guys testing their sound and chemistry. That day, they laid down three tracks, raw and unpolished, but full of spark. It was the starting point of what would soon explode into one of the greatest rock journeys ever. Hard to believe that from those first sessions, a revolution in rock ‘n’ roll was quietly taking shape.

October 27, 1969: Press conference at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Los Angeles. Mick explained the tour wasn’t about money but about playing America for fun, not economics, then apologizing for the high ticket prices.
Jagger: “We aren’t doing this tour for money, but because we want to play America and have a lot of fun. We’re really not into that sort of economic scene. I mean, either you’re gonna sing and all that crap or you’re gonna be a fucking economist. We’re sorry people can’t afford to come. We don’t know that this tour is more expensive. You’ll have to tell us”
