2006: Keith Richards undergoes surgery in Auckland, New Zealand, to remove the blood clot after it fails to
dissolve and he starts showing more symptoms. In an uncanny repeat of 1998, the Rolling Stones’ European tour, set to start on May 27, is delayed following Keith’s injury and treatment.
